Students may be able to bring their spouse and dependent children to Australia. They may be able to be included in your visa application, or a separate application may need to be lodged if they join you at a later stage.
Before applying for dependant visas issued in your home country, you need to show evidence of Family Overseas Student Health Cover
Dependent family members who join you in Australia on student visas are usually able to stay the same length of time as you, but they cannot stay if you have departed the country, for instance when you are granted leave of absence or after your have completed your course.
